Well everyone, that's it from us, you The People (who came last night) have spoken, and we have our new committee for 2009 - 2010. Many congratulations to:

From your old committee, I would just like to thank all of you for a brilliant year. It has been... Well, massively stressful. But an amazing experience, and I for one am nothing but glad I got to do it. I'm also pleased to announce that I may be the only political figure EVER who has fulfilled every single one of their campaign promises (just the one, that I would not go mad with power, I didn't! Well... Not with power anyway).
Those of us that are graduating will probably still be around to some extent (I know Joel and I will probably never really leave, we love you all so much) so consider this newsletter to be our Evita song. Totally appropriate choice of music I know.
We hope you've all had as much fun over the past year as we have, don't forget we'll be having the big pirate party at the start of next term on the 22nd just to round things off, and are going to Hull, and are all going to be about in Easter anyway, so come to the pub on Fridays and hang out a bit.
So, finally, thank you to you all, and goodbye, it's been emotional
