We at Rocksoc expect that by now you are feeling a little worse for wear. It's the end of term, all those assignments are due and you're so stressed you are beginning to wonder whether it's all worth it. --------Christmas Dinner---------
Yes, for we are all a family really, except not, because we actually generally get on with each other. Anyway Mon 7th (& til late) sees us hosting our annual Christmas dinner, upstairs in The Packhorse. For a pittance of £7 you will be fed a lovely Christmas meal, enjoy a fiendish quiz of the committee's making and (I'm told) be able to watch a manner of classic christmas films, majestically projected onto the wall of the pub. Good times. Should you wish to nestle in the wintery bosom of the family Rocksoc all you need do is visit us either lunchtime (12-2) in the Old Bar over the next couple of days to purchase a ticket. Alternatively if you send our secretary and e-mail (alex [dot] booth [at] leedsrocksoc [dot] co [dot] uk) you can book a place and pay on the day. Hurrah!
--------Rocksoc vs Metal Kettle-------
Yes, as we imagined you wouldn't be around for a clubnight on the 4th weekend of this month we decided to combine the best of both our nights into one parcel of Rock and Metal goodness. Think of it as an early Christmas present, from us to you. We will be meeting at carpe around 7:30 for cheap drinks and moving to subculture at 9.
