Hey hey hey people! Yet another Rocksoc newsletter! Oh we do spoil you.
Just a brief one today…
~~~~~~~~~~
Tickets are on sale for the Nottingham trip from Wednesday!
Thursday 30th October (THIS Thursday!) – Halloween Party in Pulse in the Union. £3 in, £2 for members.
Friday 7th November – Pub meet may be cancelled. Joel’s having a partay.
Saturday 8th – Trip to Nottingham. 6:45 Parkinson Steps. £8 for members, £12 for non.
~~~~~~~~~~
If you want to come with to Nottingham on the 8th, we’ll be selling tickets from this Wednesday up until Friday 7th every lunchtime (12-2), or until we’re sold out, in the Old Bar. We’re usually to be found at one of the tables, chips and pints in hand. We’ll also be taking money and names at the Halloween party at the door, or at the pub meet on Friday. If you’re completely rubbish and can’t make any of these then send us an email and we’ll sort you out, a’ight. £8 for members it is.
30th - Next thing is our Halloween Party! You may, or may not, have seen the posters and stuff up for it. If not you’re missing a treat, they are pretty sweet. In short there will be free sweets, prizes, competitions, costumes, Black Gothsoc Vodka Jelly, dj sets from both Punk and Gothsoc, and guaranteed good times*. It’s £2 advance, or for members of any of the societies, £3 on the door.
7th – On Friday the 7th we don’t have a technically exactly really official event on… But Joel, our Ginger Secretary, is having a shindig at his gaff. This means there may be very few people actually at the pub. We don’t want to exclude anyone though, so if you know Joel and aren’t likely to steal all his stuff if you’re in his house, get in touch for details by replying to this email.
8th – Man we are going to be so trashed. Join us as we try and heave our hungover and partied out carcasses to Nottingham after the night before. Gah.
That’s all for the moment, hope to see you in Old Bar on Wednesday, Pulse on Thursday, the pub on Friday, Rock of Ages on Saturday (£1 off with your Rocksoc card remember), and probably A+E on Sunday with clinical exhaustion.
Ta!

*Good times is a subjective state and thus impossible to offer a concrete guarantee on. It will be awesome though.
