Firstly, let me apologize for the spelling of newsletter. I swear it's a mistake and it shan't happen again...
- Thanks for halloween, if you lost keys, they're at union reception
- More keys on a rocksoc lanyard have been found in Rodger Stevens.
- Metal Kettle is Next Wednesday (12th) at TheSubculture, 9pm.
- Coach trip this Saturday to Nottingham. £8 members, all transport/entry etc. included. Tickets Old Bar 12-2 every day this week.
- No Pubmeet this Friday. Bonfire night party at Joels if you're interested...

Thank you to all who came to Halloween and made it such a successful night. I think you will all agree that it was brilliant good times were had by most, if not all... SOmeone lost some halls keys with a bull on the keyring. They are at reception if you want to collect them.
Somone has also lost some keys in rodgerstevens with a rocksoc lanyard on. I knew they were great! Hehe. ANyway, the finder mailed me through the website on the lanyard, and you can collect them from the teaching space support office on lvl. 10 of Rodger Stevens. They were found in lecture theatre 13 at midday on 3/11/08, so if that's you, pop along and collect them.
Metal Kettle is next Wednesday. Time flies so fast. It seems like only yesterday that we were having our freshers party, but the second month has rolled around already! Anyway, go get your monthly dose of all things heavy and guitaristic at Metal Kettle in TheSubculture on Wednesday 12th November 9pm-2am. Is guitaristic a real word? Sod it. I have metallic license.
Our Nottingham Trip is of course this Saturday. It'll be a good one... We're heading off from Parky Steps at 6:45 and going out with Nottingham Rocksoc for a few drinks in their favourite pubs before hitting Rock City, one of the Norths larger Rock Clubs. We're down in the old bar every day this week from 12-2 selling tickets, which must if possible be purchased in advance. We have turned people away in the past when the bus was full. (Sorry Shaun). If you really can't make it to the Old bar, drop me a line and I'll add you to the list, then you can pay on the night.
Just to remind you, i'm having a big bonfire party this Friday, so the pub might be quite empty. If you want to come to mine, e-mail me, drop me a line on facebook, or pm me on the forum... Or indeed text, 07872174254. Please don't spam me though. I'm a very sensitive soul and I may cry...
Star and Electrichead at the Met are now letting us in for £2 forthe forseeable future, so if y'allwant some Friday night rocking action, head down and get in for less than the price of a pint. Every Friday.
