This means I will need somewhere to live. Ideally, I would like to be a subwarden in a hall on campus, due to it being the cheapest and most convenient option. However, if I am unsuccessful in this, I will need to find somewhere else. What I´m asking is, is there anyone here whose house will have a spare room next year, and which has not yet been reserved for someone else? I am of course not asking anyone to definitively say that they´ll offer the room to me at this point, as I´m still not entirely sure what I´m going to do. I'll be going for the subwarden option first, but if that fails I wouldn't mind moving into any spare room either. Would anyone mind if Tom and I were both in their house? Obviously the idea of a couple sharing with others would be a bit iffy, but it would certainly make things easier for Tom and I, in terms of being able to see each other on a regular basis without making a 25 minute walk through the dark and only seeing each other's housemates for half of the year! We've just talked about this and agree that it's a definite maybe, so if anyone has more than one spare room would they be alright with Tom and I occupying them? __________________ "We're so close to finding my nemesis. I occasionally need to hassle them. It's £60pw at the mo, but may go up slightly next year.... I think with bills it works out around £72 per week. although I pay slightly more than my housemates, as I wanted the worlds fastest internet package. It's seriosly tasty... Roughly... Per month £260 rent £32.50 Water/Gas (paid quarterly) £5 phone/internet (although I pay £15, and Drew £10 as we use lots of bandwith, so we have a more pricey package..) £4 or so water (paid Biannually) £2.10 TV lisence (Paid Annually) + Bog Roll, bleach, scourers, fairy liquid, "Protection Money" etc... Which is actually around £67.50 with bills.... I pay a tenner more than that though for internet, and I usually end up buying all the "+" bits...
