On behalf of the entire committee I'd like to welcome the horde of freshers we have already indoctrinated to Leeds Rock Society - now (I believe) the biggest Rock Society in the country! Over 150 of you have joined so far, and it'd be great to see you all at the Two Smoking Barrels launch night in the Union this Sunday (26th September) for live bands, guest DJs and our own Rock Soc DJ gods.
Keep it rocking and try and put up with the shit music through freshers until we sort you out.

I heard that Cambridge and Newcastle have bigger socs than us. I think there's actually a site where all the Rocksocs in the country can talk to one another.
