Well I enjoyed myself, though the crowd was younger and rougher than at most gigs I go to.
CONQUEST OF STEEL
The first support act. and not very interesting really. "Only the Devil" has promise, but they really need to work on sounding original.
MAN OF THE HOUR
I think these guys were death metal. I don't know because I couldn't hear the vocals. They had better riffs than the first band.
KORPIKLAANI
There gig flew by, but I don't know if that means it was short. I had a laugh anyway. They played (not in this order and possibly with a song or two missing):
Wooden Pints, Korpiklaani (I think it surprised them that we could sing the chorus of this song, as it's in Suomi. The grins were priceless), Journeyman, Tervaskanto, Pellonpekko, Viima, Veriset Aparat, Hunting Song, Cottages and Saunas, Happy Little Boozer, Beer Beer, Let's Drink and Iron Fist (yes, a Motorhead cover)
