An album about the working class hero, John Henry, Bonamassa brings 7 Original songs, including his self-penned folk-songish tribute to the steel drivin' man. these songs are mixed in with cover versions of blues classics that I've never heard of before but it doesn't make them any worse.
Featuring amongst the covers, Feelin' good (most famous versions by nina simone and muse) and a nifty little number called, quite amusingly, 'Funkier than a mosquito's tweeter'.

Given that this is a Bonamassa album, you can expect it to be heavy guitar laden blues-rock, and you'd not be disappointed.

This album has a Hunter recommendation!

It's pretty good, I particularly like the Tom Waits cover and Last Kiss.

Plus I played Lonesome Road Blues on my show a couple of weeks ago.
