Is there a good place to buy some good, cheap jeans anywhere in town?; I went to Primark yesterday and was not pleased.

I don't like anything too tight or too baggy, and prefer dark blue to any other kind of colour. Also, it'd be good if the shop had a range of sizes. I am reasonably unorthodox: big-ish waist (34) but short legs (30).

Thanks Smiling

TK Maxx can be good for finding cheap clothes. It's very hit and miss though, most of the time you'll come out empty handed but it is possible to find some absolute gems.

Sometimes soho's to regular cut jeans cheap, but i have no idea if they do a short leg measurement or where would. Even when i buy guys jeans for myself still have to get 32/34.

I find Gap jeans are good, however there expensive unless there is a sale on. However all there clothes is on the large sizes for both men's and womens close, i have to wear a 0 in there instead of a 6 or 8.

Asda also do surprisingly good jeans, i got some for £8 at the same time as i got primark ones, the latter lasted about 2 months where the asda ones are still fine a year on.

Try Madhouse, the store that was a Sport Soccer, in St John's centre downstairs (if you enter from opposite the Merrion and go down the escalators, its directly to your left).

I bought 2 pairs for a tenner the other and they had a range of sizes, styles and colours, plus they seem to be fairly decent quality

Personally I like charity shops. Sounds lame, but they usually have tonnes of jeans in and a large variety of sizes and styles. Plus dirt cheap, you'll usually pay between three and five pounds for a pair.
