Guitarist looking to join or start a band

Want to join or start a band in leeds, up for anything ie rock, punk, alt metal, grunge stuff like that. Been playing for 5 years been in 5 bands before and played live at Leeds festival (nokia stage), the Cavern Club and then just random clubs.

Influences and fav bands: Alice In Chains, Audioslave, Sabbath, Santana, Billy Idol, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Down, Cream, Mad Season, Feeder, Pantera, Iggy and the Stooges, Jeff Buckley, Velvet Revolver, Nine Inch Nails, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Kyuss, QOTSA, Muse, Oasis, Pink Floyd, Rage, Pumpkins all that kinda thing.

im up for getting together and starting a band, played guitar for 8years also have a friend who is a bassist. i like most of the stuff thats on that list!

I play bass (sort of!) and might not have much free time (MA, job, shitloads of societies) but if you can't find anyone else I'd be happy to give it a crack Smiling

On the off chance that anyone needs a violinist ! (WTF) Say you want the orchestral introduction if your covering Battery... :S then I'm here, grade 7.

There's nothing more awesome than a violinist in a rockband. I'm not looking at the moment, two are enough...

Just out of interest, gaby, what other equipment are you using?
