If your an Exodus fan then you'll already know what this is going to sound like, to those unfamiliar with Exodus.....
Can you imagine Metallica re-recording Kill 'em all with their current line-up and with the benefit of modern equipment and production techniques?
Thats basically what Exodus have done here, given their classic debut album a polished 2008 makeover, making it sound pretty brutal, and it mostly works great.
Rob Dukes dosn't just try and imitate Paul Baloff, instead melding the lyrics and the old delivery with his own approach to vocals, how much you'll agree with that depends on how much you like the current Exodus. Bonded by Blood especially sounds massive, sounding huge with a modern production, the rest of the tracks sound good, the change of vocals does make a difference but only in a negative sense if your the type of Exodus fan who worships the old and despises the new.
All in all, works very well and is a good album......would have preferred this to have been The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit B though Laughing out loud

The way i see it

its like Texas chainsaw massacre the remake

Or halloween- the remake

Or the omen-the remake

but musically

it tries

it really does to re-live the past glories

But, when something fresh and origional comes out

re-doing it is less old school as opposed to more like old hat
