Checked 29/4/08, upgrade blockers in bold, usables in italics. If it's not on the list, it's done.

Comment Upload: in progress. Still

Email Verification: Untested patch on site, this is less critical now we have reCaptcha. Drupal lets you choose to send a confirmation email - this checks the domain is answering for a given user during sign-up.

Event: in dev-snapshot

Event Repeat: Waiting on above

Find url alias: Now in core

Forum access: In dev, won't work until 6.3 dute to pending core fix

Gallery: in dev

HTML Corrector: in core

path-auto + path-redirect: in dev

privatemsg: buggy pach available

simplenews: in dev. active.

smilies dev, working

update status: in core

Views. Still in buggy beta

XML Sitemap: patch available http://drupal.org/node/15753, in active use, but responsable maintainer has fucked off

 

I'm beginning to see why it takes debian a decade to make a release and phpBB even longer.

We are now only waiting on event and event-repeat, although support for event-repeat may be dropped due to it encouraging people to do really stupid things. Of course all of the problems have been on a certain sister site.

Drupal.org is suggesting Date API + CCK + Calendar view for a fully customisable way of doing events.

Have had Events and Event Repeat working in a D6 test migration. We just need to update the theme.
