Yep, here we go again. Time to take out the oldies, and get some fresh blood in. Well, most times, at least..
The committee positions are:
President - The boss, presides over the smooth running of the society.
Secretary - This person takes notes at all the meetings and helps the president.
Treasurer - This person handles the money in the society.
The top 3 positions (president, Secretary and Treasurer) are expected to attend as many RockSoc functions as is physically possible and are seen as officers to the union.
Publicity Secretary - This person is expected to organise publicity for the rocksoc events. This can mean designing posters and leaflets and liasing with the union and clubs to get the posters put up.
Social Secretary - This person organises the clubnights, DJ rotas and door rotas. They are also expected to attend as many events as possible.
Gig Co-ordinator - This person organises the gigs put on by the rocksoc and any trips to gigs. They also organise the bands for the clubnights.
3 x General Committee - These people are at the disposal of the other committee members and help out with the smooth running of events.
Webmaster - This person keeps the site and forum tidy, as well as improving it, when possible. And if The Powers That Be allow it.
If you feel someone you know will be suitable for one of these positions post their names below. You can only nominate and second one person for each position.
Elections will be held at the AGM, bound to happen about a month away from now, but we'll keep you updated.
