Yup. I've had that too.

I'm not a website bod, so I can't help, all I can do is just shake my fist in a disgruntled fashion at the system and mumble "grrr"

You probably need to check the image size and host it elsewhere now. I suspect Timmy had scripts to resize and store the images on the Charles' linode, but I may be mistaken...

I do remember Tim having some kind of resizing scripts, and I have no idea how they worked, so for now you will have to resize them yourselves. Doesn't take much effort in paint or something.

i resized mine about 9 or 10 times getting them down to 90 thingymejigys, and it still wont load, tried using different formats of pictures, that didnt make any difference ever.

Okay, I think I found the problem, the avatars are uploading into a part of the website that I think no longer exists. I'm not sure why the old ones are still working, if this is the case, I'll see what I can do to fix it though.

Avatars didn't make it throught the uprade. We have them safe, i'll make a quick gallery of them sometime soonish so people can rescue them.
