This Wednesday sees the return of our monthly Metal club night, Metal Kettle. Rocksoc's own DJs will take to the booth at Subculture (down the side of the Merrion Centre in town) to bring you a night of tasty riffs, face melting solos and more double bass pedal than you can shake a stick at. Doors will open at 9pm and it will be finishing in the wee hours of the morning, probably around 2am. Entry for society members will be £2 and £3 for non-members, unless they want to sign up then and there to take advantage of the discount (all all of the other discounts the Rocksoc Membership card gets you).
If you are looking for places to go beforehand, we’d recommend Carpe Diem as its close by and relatively cheap drinks, or the Cuthbert Broderick in Millennium Square; you might even see some of the committee down there as well.
