The Ball is coming. For those of you who have not been to the ball before\, here is a brief introduction. This year it is being held at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Leeds. We all dress up in dinner suits and dresses and such (though formal dress is not required\, it’s just fun) and go sit down and have a good three course dinner\, followed by light entertainment and a club night style disco madoodar… The ball this year is going to cost £32 per head. The date is the 14th of March. The price includes a full dinner and half a bottle of wine per person.

The committee positions are\:
President - The boss\, presides over the smooth running of the society.
Secretary - This person takes notes at all the meetings and helps the president.
Treasurer - This person handles the money in the society.
The top 3 positions (president\, Secretary and Treasurer) are expected to attend as many rocksoc functions as is physically possible and are seen as officers to the union.
