First up tomorrow is our AGM, the time where we put the current committee out to pasture and herd in a group of fresh new minds. It'll be held in the Parkinson Seminar Room (B.09) in Leeds University at 8pm - there will be some committee in Old Bar from 7.30pm ready to guide you if you aren't sure where this is.

First a heads up about the Alt Ball. This will be a wonderful evening held on the 17th of March but the deadline for getting your ticket is drawing near! We need all final payments in by this Friday (the 2nd) so if you have taken advantage of our deposit scheme then get the rest of your cash in to us before we send the lads round. As always we'll be in Old Bar 12-2pm Tuesday and Thursday and the Packhorse from 9pm on Friday. Firstly for those of you coming on our trip to Legends tonight please be at the Parkinson building steps (the big white building with the clock for those not sure) for 7:15pm. Remember to bring your ID (no matter how wonderful and mature you look) because we can't let you on the coach without it! See you there

Happy February! This year its is extra special (it's a leap year for those not in the loop) so we have decided to make this clubnight a little bit extra special too!

Like on Chistmas day back in 'olden days where servants were served, we are going let you show us how it is done! (not that this is very different from normal - we let anyone who wants to DJ have a training slot.. but it is different!)

Yes, indeed, instead of having to contact me for a DJ slot (a dangerous task..) you can just bring along your CDs! (involving little to no social contact - horrah?)

Yes, it is time for the Alt Ball again! And this year we are hoping to to make it bigger and better than ever, we have gone a bit ball out!

Hello you beautiful people!

We have many wonderful things going on for you to sink your teeth into. On the 29th of February we will be throwing our monthly bash, Two Smokin' Barrels! It's the usual drill, 9pm-2am in Pulse (downstairs in Leeds University Union), £3 entry for members and £4 for non-members.

However this time there's a bit of a twist! For the first hour we're running a Give It a Go session where you can have a go at playing your own tunes. All you have to do is turn up with CDs burnt in an audio format/actual bona-fide CDs and we will let you loose on the decks!

It would be silly not to mention that the club trip to Newcastle is on Saturday the 18th of February, wouldn't it? Of course it would, let's pretend that was in the last email.
